Author and life-long educator
"Crossing Boundaries" is my debut book, published in 2025. Written as a story rather than an academic text, it brings research to life through narrative and lived experience.
The book is grounded in my doctoral research at Stellenbosch University (2020), which explored the everyday realities of primary school principals as instructional leaders in their professional practice. It also draws on earlier work from my Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree, completed in 2012 at Stellenbosch University, which examined how adult learners in a rural Western Cape community experienced and interpreted learning after acquiring basic literacy skills.
